Netflix was exposed to competition for Warner Brothers Explorer or to take over top IPs like DC SuperEngine and Harry Potter.
According to Reuters, citing anonymous sources, the media giant Netflix is “actively exploring” the acquisition programme for Warner Brothers Explorer and has engaged the investment bank Moelis & Co. to prepare a potential offer. The Bank has just served as a global financial adviser to David Allison for the acquisition of Skydance Media.

The Warner Brothers Exploration Board announced last week that it had received “multiple M&A offers” and initiated an assessment process. According to Reuters, to assist with the acquisition programme, Warner has opened access to Netflix. It is not clear that Netflix co-chair CEO Ted Salandos made it clear to investors at the Third Quarter Financial Conference that “no interest exists in the acquisition of traditional television networks”, implying that the possibility of a full acquisition of Warner (including CNN, TBS, etc.) has been ruled out. Ted Salandos described Netflix as a “choice-choice option” against the objectives of the merger and emphasized that “there are no assets that must be purchased in order to achieve the operational objectives”. At the time of Netflix’s announcement of the intention to purchase, Ellison of Paramount Skydance had raised the overall purchase price for Warner on three successive occasions, all of which had been rejected for too low a price, the latest offer being $23.50 per share.

Concaster, the giant cable network of the United States, is also considering a bid for Warner, but similar to Netflix, may aim only at its video studio and/or streaming media operations. In a press conference, Concaster Co. CEO Mike Cavana stated that the company “sets a high threshold” for major M & As transactions, but does not completely rule out the possibility, noting that the possibility of obtaining federal approval will increase when its cable channel (other than Bravo) is divided into Versant’s deal, after this year’s completion. In 2025, the Warner Film Industry launched the Superman My World film, directed by James Gunn, Sinners, Death: A Blood Cursed, F1 by Brad Pitt, Murderer and others. In 2024, there were the highlights of its filmboards, Sand dunes 2, The Magnificent Magnificent, and the Rise of the Empire 2 in the war of Godzilla.

The Warner Brothers Television Corporation has in recent years customized plays such as the Reversible Basket, Sleeping Bookshop and Housemaid, and its home-made popular works also include The Wind Cloud in Primary School, The Diagnosis and The Voice.
