WhatsApp introduces a number of new features, including dialogue-based AI responses
WhatsApp is introducing a series of new features and updates, including a function that can generate AI smart responses based on dialogue content. It also includes functions such as new ways of releasing space and the use of Meta AI.

However, its “aided response” function, which was designed to help draft information, was of the greatest concern. It was first launched in August last year and has helped users to rewrite, proofread and adjust their tone. WhatsApp says in his blog that this update will help users to express their message “rightfully”. Meta wants users to use their application technology to write information, rather than using external tools such as ChatGPT. Of course, not all people are willing to use this new function because there are users who may prefer to have real, private conversations with friends and family rather than AI-generated information. (It’s one thing to write emails in AI, and it’s another to use them to send messages to family groups.) Meta emphasizes that even using the “aided response” function, chat content remains private. To use this function, the user needs to click on the chat bar, select a sticker in the input area, and then click a pencil with a flash icon (for AI function).

As for the release of memory threats, whatsApp can now help users find and delete large files directly in any chat. This means that the user can delete what is not needed without being clear about the whole dialogue. For example, users can remove media files and keep chat content close to cleaning up chat records. WhatsApp also announced that users can now use Meta AI directly in the chat P-chart, allowing users to trim content, change background and replace filters. In addition, WhatsApp now supports the migration of chat records from iOS to Android and within the same platform. At the same time, iOS users now have access to both WhatsApp accounts, a feature that has long been achieved on Android.

The sticker function for whatsApp will also be updated and when a user enters an emoticon symbol, a specific sticker will be recommended to facilitate user replacement. ItsApp indicates that these new features are being rolled out and will soon be available to all users.
